Program Planning Components Overview
 
DSA staffs are highly trained, certified program managers with extensive experience in enterprise process & application transformation initiatives. As they engage on any client initiative, they are capable of conducting initial analysis to determine best execution method, analyzing for objectives, imposed constraints, etc., and delivering the following plan components:
  1. Technical Plan - this details the execution strategy, tools and methods that will be used through the course of the initiative
  2. Resource Plan - this plan component is inclusive of:
    • Fully loaded and resource balanced project schedule (WBS)
    • Facility and equipment requirements
    • Expense dollars by phase, capital dollars by phase and a cash flow projection for the initiative
    • Team structure, roles, responsibilities, required skills
  3. Validation Plan - this plan component is inclusive of:
    • Validation tactics and tools that will be used to validate the initiative is being executed efficiently, effectively and according to plan
    • Validation processes and tools that will be used to:
      • Validate program objectives, new targets for design of process
      • Validation of the Future State Design documents
      • Validation of the configured application and its match to program objectives, new targets for design, baseline process requirements and usability
      • Validation of the configured applications reliability & performance
      • Validation of the operations and support processes
      • Validation that the Change Impact assessment and Site Readiness tactics are properly and completely executed
  4. Risk Assessment & Mitigation Plan - identifies known risks, risk taxonomy, probabilities, and predictable mitigation tactics. The risk mitigation tactics and road signs are incorporated, as required, in to the detailed project schedule (WBS) to ensure proactive risk assessment and mitigation
  5. Organizational Change Management Plan - specifies the methods and tools that will be used to ensure buying and adoption. The deliverables will typically include:
    • Change Management Stages, Checkpoints and Deliverables including but not limited to:
      • Stakeholder Matrix and Assessment
      • Program Governance Plan
      • Sponsor Roadmap
      • Coaching Plan
      • Resistance Management Plan

Program Management Services Overview
